*QUALIFICATIONS
In the past twelve years, I have developed skills in areas that help further my progression in the oilfield;
- Control Room/Subsea Operator on MC-547.
- Assisted with Commissioning the Optiex MC-547 “Who Dat” and Delta House MC-254 projects in Ingleside Tx.
- Perform mitigations and testing of subsea wells on Who Dat
- Hold a Barge Supervisors license and assist BCO’s when needed
- Compliance Technician on all deep water and shelf facilities for LLOG (Louisiana Lease Oil & Gas).
- Work closely with HSE during construction.
- Performed compliance audits and actively involved with BSEE & Coast Guard inspections on all LLOG facilities.
- Proficient in CFR, API, OSHA, and Coast Guard regulations.
- Commissioning process equipment, redline P&ID’s along with Safe Charts, and writing SOP’s.
- Generating spare parts and inventory for operations prior to first oil.
- As the chemical champion, I worked with the Chemical Engineer during plant testing and optimization of chemical
rates for subsea and topside injection.
- Study SOM & SOP literature to improve troubleshooting skills and work efficiency, able to
identify work opportunities before being told so and deal with pressure effectively.
- Use good clear communication to employ accuracy of information.
- Apply mentoring skills gained from the USAF to junior technicians during training.
- Attended Hazard analysis meetings for new equipment to be added on LLOG facilities.
I have seven years experience in the US Air Force, with diverse training as an Aerospace Ground
Equipment mechanic including electrical, electronics, leadership, employee relations, and strong computer skills.
Attention to detail, dedicated work, and numerous training courses have rewarded me with a position as
craftsman mechanic in the Air Force. While in the Air Force, I was chosen for the opportunity to further my
training as a Military Training Leader.
*WORK HISTORY
2011- Present Wood Group (Hess GoM DWP)
2016 - Present: I am now contracted to the Hess Corporation as a Subsea Control Room Operator for Stampede. We are currently
at Wood Group Mustang in Houston reviewing/revising SOP’s and attending FAT’s before heading to Ingleside Tx. for
completion and sail out to location.
2011 - 2015 LLOG: Control Room/Subsea Operator on MC-547 “Who Dat”. Actively involved in writing new
SOP’s for Who Dat operations and ongoing Audits. Train subordinates in the Control Room on subsea and topsides operations.
Jun 2007 - Jan 2011 Baker Energy – Danos & Curole (BP GoM DWP) Na Kika
Due to a change in contracts, I transferred over to Danos & Curole Aug. 2009 to continue my
employment as an Operations Technician on Na Kika. Worked topside and assisted with subsea, ie. Flow assurance,
MOEH/chemical injection, well testing, casing diagnostics and equipment maintenance.
Jan 2003 - Apr 2004 Wood Group (GoM)
My duties were to test and monitor all production and safety equipment, which includes all scheduled inspections.
I stopped working offshore to go back to college and pursue a degree in Nursing (RN).
2. Jan 2001-Dec 2003 Grasso Production Management (GoM)
I worked full time as a Clerk for GPM. As a clerk it was my job to keep a daily record of all accounts and drilling
progress. I transferred over to the production side as a B-operator. I assisted the lease operator in ensuring and
performing platform safety equipment inspections and compliance to all regulatory agencies (company policies, BSEE,
and USCG regulations). Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all production equipment.
2000-2002 Air Force Reserves
I chose the Palace Chase program to finish the remaining six months active duty time in the reserves. I had returned to
my primary career field as an AGE mechanic. During this time in the reserves I proceeded with my 7 -level training and
also earned the rank of Staff Sergeant.
1997-2000 Military Training Leader US Air Force
My duties as a MTL were to support in Supervising 400+ students daily. Responsible for building moral and
discipline among the students, ordering building supplies, custodian, conducting safety meetings, maintaining
current MSDS files, and provided hazardous materials training.
1993-1998 Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic, US Air Force
As an AGE mechanic, my duties were to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of equipment
for servicing F-15 Eagles. To include; hydraulics, diesels and turbine engines, turbine and electric generators,
electrical test stands, air refrigeration systems, heaters, high and low pressure air compressors, etc. Performed
maintenance on these various types of equipment which, involved troubleshooting, replacement and repair of all
mechanical, electrical, and structural components. During the course of my job as an AGE mechanic, I participated in
numerous training courses to aid in upgrade training in all areas to receive the title as craftsman mechanic.
