Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic: Repair, rebuild, and overhaul major assemblies of
internal combustion engines. Replace worn or broken parts, bearings, and or other engine
parts. Grind and adjust parts and assemblies as required. Replace engines, transmissions
and other major assemblies. Repair transmissions, fuel injection, lighting, and ignition
systems. Perform preventive maintenance checks and services on all types of military
wheeled vehicles. Troubleshoot and diagnose source of problems and determine extent of
repairs required using troubleshooting techniques based on knowledge, experience and

Division Safety Professional: Provided assistance and security to seventeen thousand plus
United States Marine Corps personnel in the division. Supervised and consolidated the
handling of hazardous materials and waste to insure that state and federal laws and
regulations and proper procedures were followed. Provided subordinate units with
information on industrial hygiene, problems in the workplace; such as exposure limits for
noise, chemicals, heat, and other workplace stress to help identify potential health
hazards, gases and vapors exposure limit standards, respiratory protection program and
equipment. Conducted safety briefs to subordinate units to establish awareness of hazards
and corresponding preventative procedures. Supervised the maintenance and storage of all
safety training records ensuring proper procedures were followed. Directed and
