PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

TA-35 Tow Tractors, NC-10’s, NF-2 Light Carts, Huffers, Air Conditioning Units,
Tow Bars, Hydraulic Stands, and other Aviation Ground Support Equipment used in
the launching, recovery, and maintenance of Navy Aircraft.
• Utilized tig and mig welding training in the fabrication of aircraft and aviation ground
support equipment parts, as required. Utilized welding skills to install fuel tanks,
flatbed truck frames and beds, wilderness racks for off-road vehicles, and animal
enclosures for San Diego Zoo and San Diego Sea World while employed with Hud
Mac and Tilton Welding in San Diego. Provided fabrication, welding, and installation
services for San Diego shipyard, under contract with Tilton Welding, for steel,
aluminum, and titanium shipboard authorized parts.

troubleshooter. Sound maintenance practices and tenacity contributed to DynCorp
Honolulu receiving the G.S.E. Shop of The Year Award.
• Increased availability of aircraft jacks from 50% to 95% by updating quality
assurance and maintenance checks and practices.
• Conducted preventive maintenance and repair actions on concrete mixers, concrete
saws, Sky Tracks, Lull tractors and units, and company-owned work trucks and
trailers.
• Implemented a preventive maintenance schedule for all company-owned equipment,
drastically decreasing downtime of commercial owned equipment due to malfunction
of components or lack of maintenance.
• Heavy equipment mechanic for Kira, Inc. Assigned as Shop Hazwaste Coordinator
and Grounds Maintenance Lead at Naval Station Mayport. Accountable for daily
operations of equipment and manpower. Implemented a preventive maintenance plan
for equipment, ensuring grounds maintenance gear was turned in for maintenance on
schedule, and lengthy repair cycles were planned for to minimize interference with
the overall groundskeeping maintenance plan.
• Ground Support Equipment mechanic for Air Ground Logistics at Jacksonville
International Airport. Ensure aircraft support equipment for UPS, Southwest Airlines,
American Airlines, DHL, and GAT, GAT United, and Cargo Force is in ready-for-use
condition. Conduct daily inspections on SE, and weekly fluid checks on all assigned
support equipment. Troubleshoot and repair cargo loaders, belt loaders, power units,
aircraft tugs, forklifts, huffers, and other smaller pieces of SE such as baggage carts
and towbars.
