Ensco PLC June 2013 to Present
Rig Asset Manager – Ensco 8506: Primary responsibility is managing the deep water semisubmersible as a complete asset and
all personnel required to maintain the mobile offshore drilling unit. Other responsibilities include:
 Planned budget for annual projects, in between well maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities
 Developed engineering requests for rig modifications and overseeing completion of modifications and upgrades
 Created AFE’s for project cost and monitored expenditures annually
 Through observation, records, and inspections, ensures that all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems meet
regulatory and Operational Drilling requirements
 Ensures all maintenance is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, equipment manufacturer’s
recommendations, the Rig Operating Manual, and regulatory requirements and codes
 Monitors repairs and rebuilds to ensure they are performed properly, safely, and economically
 Oversees modifications to the equipment and structure; ensures modifications of the rig and new equipment are approved
according to company policies and procedures before operation
 Maintains updated rig drawings, manuals, and other pertinent literature needed for maintenance purposes.
 Performs troubleshooting and repair of equipment, directly or through subordinates
 Initiates analysis and identifies the root causes of failures on rig equipment and systems
 Ensures records and documentation for general maintenance, operation, and repairs are kept accurate and up-to-date
 Monitors equipment logs to ensure operating and maintenance standards are maintained
 Decision maker on repair priorities
 Produces weekly operational report and provides recommendations
 Oversees implementation of the Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) for the rig and maintains all PMS records;
monitors the quality and timeliness of preventative maintenance
 Reviews equipment and spare parts inventories to ensure adequate and accurate inventory; investigates and resolves
discrepancies
 Performed recurring audits of the asset and management of findings closure
 Worked with OEM, holding them accountable to make their equipment safer and more efficient
 Managed operational activities when performance manager was away
 Planning and overseeing the preservation and cold stacking of the rig during idle period
 Supported client relationships by facilitating sporting clays events for charity functions
Marine Well Containment Company 2011-June 2013
Maintenance Superintendent
 Maintenance of capping stack system used for Gulf of Mexico deployment as required by U.S. regulatory body (BSEE)
 Overseeing the preservation maintenance on all MWCC Equipment
 Manage development and approval maintenance procedures and checklist for equipment periodic preventative
maintenance
 Carry out testing on capping stacks for BSEE, on annual, semi-annual and special surveys as dictated by the US
Government
 Assist in developing the new expanded system, and assist in maintenance planning for future equipment, as well as assist
in storage locations for it by conveying the necessary requirements for proper storage and preservation type maintenance
on the equipment
 Conduct drills, as well as, make all the equipment ready for a deployment exercises for BSEE, along with Shell Oil Co.

Seahawk Drilling 2009-2011
Maintenance Manager
 Managed the maintenance for a fleet of 20 Jack-up rigs in the Northern US GOM and Mexico
 Working with project team in implementing a new maintenance management program through SAP
 Asset Management to insure that the rigs have available to them the known good spare parts needed to keep the rigs
running to their peak performance
 Work with supply chain to insure that we have the sources through our vendors to supply the rigs with proper materials and
service personnel when needed to keep the rigs running
 Critique training facilities with the aid of subordinates to insure that we have proper training for our rig based maintenance
crews
 Work closely with the rig crews to insure they have materials and expertise needed to keep the rigs operating on a daily
basis
 Attend operations meeting every morning and insure that the Rig Managers have my full assistance in the day to day
operations and performing tasks as needed to keep the rigs running as needed
 Attend the Marketing Meetings, that allowed me to plan for Modifications and or repairs that may need to be performed so
as not to hold up the rigs obligations to the client, and limit downtime at a later time when the rig is working
 Attended all of the Safety Leadership Training meetings and contributed input to the rig crews and their supervisors that
could help eliminate incidents
Pride International 2001-2009
Maintenance Manager
 Managed maintenance for a fleet of jack-up rigs and platform rigs in the US GOM and Mexico
 Managed a 44 acre yard facility with shipping and receiving, Inventory management, and asset management
 Managed a group of 23 employees onshore
 Started the role of Technical Support Manager that included Information Technology
 I was instrumental in implementing Pride’s first Preventative Maintenance program
 I also was Project Manager for implementing the Rimdrill IADC program for all of the rigs in the US GOM and was
assigned to the team that implemented Brazil as well

 Nobile Drilling bought nine of the rigs that I was associated with. Worked on the rig “Roy Butler” for Four years for Noble
 Maintain all equipment on a daily basis
 Insure that the preventative maintenance on all rig equipment was carried out. (Rig had 1.5 hrs. DT in 365 Days of work)
 Supervised 5 maintenance crew members
 Planned and executed repairs and modifications as needed to keep the rig running at peak performance for better
