3. INTRODUCTION
CFCL full name is Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. It is located at Gade Pan in Kota
district of Rajasthan, and it was formed in 1985 by KK Birla Group Chambal Fertilizer is the
largest Indian agrochemical manufacturer. It uses electric energy to run its plant.
Generates and the power plant near it, of which one is working and the other is closed,
both of these are 18 kW power plants, to run the steam coming out of urea, the turbine is
rotated to which the generator is connected and The generator also rotates due to which
electrical energy is generated and sometimes there is a failure in the power plant, it takes
a lot of time to run the plant and emergency diesel engines are kept in all the three urea
plants, through which electricity is supplied to the plant.
5. After the formation of urea in CFCL, the turbine is rotated by the stream
that remains, the generator is connected to the turbine, due to which
the generator also rotates and electrical energy is obtained. The
effluent water is cooled with the help of a cooling tower, the cooled
water is used to water the ground and trees present in the industry
and some of the remaining water is released into the Kalisindh river,
here for electrical generation. There are three plants, one plant runs
continuously and when this plant gets damaged then the other plant is
used, both these plants are of 18 MW and sometimes it takes a lot of
time to start the plant. Emergency diesel engines are kept per urea
plant
7. Ammonia is required to make
urea, water is heated to obtain
ammonia, which is obtained
hydrogen, which is converted into
water vapor, this vapor is used to
spin a turbine, from which we get
electricity which generates
electrical energy which is used in
the plant
STEAM
8. Cooling Tower
The cooling tower consists of a special type of heat exchanger
inside which the water and air come into contact with each
other to lower the temperature of the heated water.
9. TURBINE
✣ Turbine consists of at least one rotor assembly, from which the
kinetic energy of this machine is driven along a shaft or drum
with one or more blades exerts a high pressure object on the
blades which causes the rotor to move. and provides kinetic
energy to the rotor rotation
10. SUPER
HEATER
The steam coming from the
urea plant is superheated.
Super heated vapor is such
vapor which contains more
thermal energy at the same
pressure than saturated
vapor .Superheating the
steam causes rust in the
turbine.
11. GENERATOR
Tell the generation of energy in a power plant by the generator itself, this
three-phase synchronous generator, its rotor is connected by the turbine
with the help of soft, due to the rotation of the turbine, it also rotates,
which produces electrical energy.
12. POWER TRANSFORMER
transformers allow transmission of electric
power at high voltages, which reduces the loss
due to heating of the wires. This allows
generating plants to be located economically at
a distance from electrical consumers.
13. DISTRIBUTION
TRANSFORMER
This transformer works to convert high voltage into low
voltage, distribution transformer is converted into
440 volt 220 volt 110 volt etc. From this the supply
is given according to the load.
14. UNDERGROUND
LINE
IN CFCL, THE LINES AROUND THE PLANT ARE
ALL UNDERGROUND, BECAUSE IF THE LINE IS
KEPT OUTSIDE, THE WORKERS WORKING
THERE, AND THE PLANT ARE AT RISK BECAUSE
OF STRONG WIND AND OTHER ENVIRONMENT.
15. EMERGENCY DIESEL ENGINE
Diesel engine is known as DG, it is used in the place where we do not get
electricity meaning electricity, apart from this it is used for power
requirement in emergency.
16. CFCL PRODUCTS
CFCl accounts for about 13% of the total urea production in the country. For more
than two decades, the company has responsibly contributed to the food security of
the country. Its 3 Hi-Tech Nitrogen Urea Plants are located at Gadhepan in Kota
district of Rajasthan. Has an installed annual production of 3.4 million metric tons of
urea, which contributes to the bulk of the urea consumed in major agricultural
states of India. These machines have been commissioned in Jeevan 1 Jeevan 2
Jeevan 3 respectively in 1994, 1999 and 2019, Jeevan 3 is a state-of-the-art unit It is
one of the most efficient plants in the world USATOYO ENGINEERING
CORPORATION Utilizes the latest technologies of Japan Life 3 Plant has an installed
annual production capacity of about 1.34 million metric tonnes of urea Nowadays
adulteration of urea in milk leads to CFCL started manufacturing Neem Coated
Urea, it manufactures best quality urea.
