expertise attained, but by how well they handle themselves

Emotions play a very critical role in the overall quality of our
personal and professional lives, more critical even than our
actual measure of brain intelligence.

Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to identify and
manage your own emotions, as well as the emotions of
others and it helps to make batter workplace. In other
words, “emotional intelligence is the psychological abilities
of person” Emotional intelligence involves a combination of
competencies, which allow a person to be aware of, to
underst and and to be in control of his own emotions.

Self awareness
self-awareness is knowing one’s emotions, strength,
weaknesses, drives, value, and goals and their impact on
other.
Self-regulation
Self regulation is about how we express our emotions to
other people. It is a method of controlling and redirecting
disruptive emotions.

Emotionally intelligent people are self-motivated, which makes them better learners, confident,
optimistic, creative, flexible, happy and successful.
They are usually resilient and optimistic when they encounter stress and are driven by an inner
ambition.
Empathy
It is related to Dealing with your emotion and the emotion of others or Considering others feeling,
especially when making decision. Empathy has a powerful effect on workgroups because it helps us
build a psychologically safe environment and work constructively with other people.
Social Skill
It means efficient handling of our own emotions as well as of others. The knowledge of emotions is
utilized by such emotionally intelligent people to live and to work more effectively, and to grow as good
and competent human being.
