    What a wonderful proposition, teachers assisting their students to understand the huge power that emotions have either OVER or FOR humanity. Nice vision you have.

    If one just stops to think for a moment ... all emotions are preceded by thoughts. And all thoughts are the products of the belief libraries we hold in our conscious and unconscious minds. So .... to teach our thoughts so they improve how we feel (emotions) we first need to train the beliefs that produce those thoughts. The real life forms that we are ... need to start training our beliefs ... to nurture our thoughts ... to produce positive emotions ... in order to begin to create, improve and evolve as an evolutionary species of life in this HUGE COSMIC COMMUNITY.

    A Universal Principle:
    There are only two sources of mankind’s dilemmas frustrations and problems since we arrived here on this planet: 1) “I don’t want to XYZ” and 2) “I don’t know how to XYZ.” Then if those two belief viruses get linked up ... they create an impenetrable force ... “I don’t want to know how to” and I don’t know how to improve my want to.” That is a self supporting, systemic loop of eternal dormancy.

    And since there are only two source causations to ALL of mankind’s problem supply chains ... guess what are the only two solutions. 

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE <ul><li>Emotional intelligence (EI) commonly known as EQ has become a wide spread interest to psychological research It was Salovey and Mayer, who first introduced the term emotional intelligence. </li></ul><ul><li>But it was popularized by Goleman with the publication of his influential book Emotional Intelligence in 1995 which appeared in the cover page of TIME magazine. </li></ul>

IQ and EQ <ul><li>Earlier it was believed that people with high IQ could alone become successful in personal, academic, family and professional life. </li></ul><ul><li>Many people with high IQ may be productive and ambitious but found to be cold and detached. </li></ul><ul><li>People with EQ, even with average IQ have found to be more successful because they are social, empathetic and cheerful’. </li></ul><ul><li>IQ is mostly determined by genetics and so it can not be changed drastically. </li></ul><ul><li>But EQ is mostly learned and people can be trained. </li></ul>
