Administering Sun, Compaq and Dell servers with Solaris Windows 2000 Operating Systems and
Maintaining monitoring and troubleshooting worldwide network infrastructure which involves
massive distributed Oracle databases in a HA cluster environment. Responsible for working on 3rd
Level Escalated Issues, which requires high technical capabilities. Reporting to Director
Operations.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Installations, Configuration, Deployment, Administration, Maintenance
and Troubleshooting Sun Servers, Red Hat Linux Servers, SDN Software (Components),
iPlanet Enterprise Web Servers, TIBCO Hawk/RV, Vital Suite, SNMPc, Veritas Net Backup
and other tools.
• As an Escalation point for all issues in Corporate, Development, Sand Box, UTL, STL & IIL
Lab environments responsible for speedy resolving and co-ordination between different
engineering groups.
• Regular tasks includes Troubleshooting SUN Servers, installations using Jumpstart
installations, and maintaining Troubleshooting NFS, Disk Management, Back-up’s, File
System management, NIS, DNS and all network issues that may arise from time to time.
