Dr. Shashi Tharoor is an Indian politician and former diplomat who has had a long career in the United Nations and Indian government. He received his education in India and the United States, earning multiple degrees including a PhD from Tufts University. Tharoor has had a long career in the UN rising to serve as Under-Secretary General for Communications and Public Information. He has also authored over 20 books on various topics and writes newspaper columns that appear internationally. Tharoor joined the Indian National Congress and was elected to the Lok Sabha, serving as a representative from 2009 to 2019.

for business communication(AABC) , Kerela
• First chair of the editorial board of The Fletcher Forum of
World Affairs, a journal examining issues in international
relations.

of the Red Cross in Geneva from 2008 to 2011.
• Joined congress as its spokesperson.
• He participated in several important debates of the 15th Lok
Sabha, including on the Lokpal Bill, the demand for grants of

Commerce and Industry, the black money debate, and so on.
