There are only a chosen few who rise above the rest to lead mankind. Some meet history with favorable review while others meet with infamy. This presentation highlights the most remarkable leaders of last decade. Introducing both who influenced us with their remarkable innovations or those who supposed to be a trend setter in the field of Management Sciences, and changed the course of history forever. Leaders include Steve Jobs, Dr. John Martin, A. G. Lafley, Jeff Immelt, Mahatir Mohamad, Mukesh Ambani, Lee Kun-hee, Carlos Slim, Jimmy Wales, and Jeff Bezos.

Archetypal Branding provides you with a systematic way to:
• Clearly define the Brand so that it is compelling and credible to your key Target Audiences.
• Create a Brand Identity that all key internal Constituencies can agree on and work from.
• Increase the Reputation, Image, perceived Value and Brand Awareness of your Company
Recent studies have shown that the most potent component of premium brands is a clear identity that is grounded in the ultimate personality types deciphered by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, the so-called Archetypes.
Tracking over 13,000 brands over a period of five years and interviewing more than 120,000 consumers across 100 product categories, archetypal researcher Carol Paerson found that archetypal brands outpaced non-archetypal ones by a factor of 97% in Market Value Added (a measure of how much value a company has added to, or subtracted from, its shareholder investment).
A Booz Allen Hamilton research report recently showed that „brand-guided companies have profitability margins nearly twice the industry standard. Brand-guided banks, for example, have an ROE of 19% compared to 8% for non brand-guided banks.“

Adam Fergusson
Adam Fergusson is author of the bestselling book “When Money Dies”, about
the nightmare of the Weimar (German) hyper-inflation in the 1920s. The book
tells the story of Germany’s economic collapse after the First World War, which
culminated in the mind-boggling inflation of late 1923 - a dreadful time when
the number of marks to the pound was at one point equivalent to the number
of metres from the earth to the sun. In the last few years, with the banking crisis
and quantative easing, “When Money Dies” has returned to fashion among

Sugata Mitra is Professor of Educational Technology at Newcastle University in
the UK. He works in the areas of Cognitive Science, Information Science and
Educational Technology. His contributions include a number of inventions and
first-time applications. Among other applications, he is credited with having
started the database publishing industry (particularly the Yellow Page industry)
in India and Bangladesh. In 1999, Sugata dug a hole in a wall bordering an
urban slum in New Delhi, installed an internet-connected PC, and left it there
(with a hidden camera filming the area). What they saw were children from the
slum playing around with the computer and in the process learning how to use it
and how to go online, and then teaching each other. In the following years they
replicated the experiment in other parts of India, urban and rural, with similar
results, challenging some of the key assumptions of formal education. The ‘Hole
in the Wall’ project demonstrates that, even in the absence of any direct input
from a teacher, an environment that stimulates curiosity can cause learning
through self-instruction and peer-shared knowledge.

Azran Osman Rani
In 2007, Azran was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia X, the world’s
first truly low-cost long-haul airline. He led the start-up team that developed the
business plan, raised capital, secured relevant licenses and approvals, acquired

in November 2007. Despite a tumultuous 2008 and 2009 in global aviation,
AirAsia X has expanded from one aircraft to nine, tripling revenue and passenger
volume to RM750 million and over 1 million passengers in 2009. AirAsia X now
flies to eleven destinations in Australia, Greater China, India, Korea and Europe
- breaking many long-haul airline conventions and pioneering various innovative
services. Even with its nascent aircraft fleet, AirAsia X operates with the world’s
lowest long-haul unit cost and the world’s highest aircraft utilisation. Its London

Sonu Shivdasani
Sonu Shivdasani is Founder and Chief Executive of Six Senses Resorts & Spas,
a super-luxury resort and spa group with properties in 6 countries. In 1995,
together with his wife Eva, they opened their first property - Soneva Fushi, in
the Maldives, creating a high end market in what was formerly a mass market
destination. In 2000, Soneva Fushi was awarded the Best of the Best by the
readers of Conde Nast Traveller UK. Sonu’s concept was Intelligent Luxury
and was the forerunner and inspiration for a host of imitators who saw the
potential in going green. By 2009, Six Senses had 26 resorts that were either
open or under development, and 41 Six Senses Spas that are in the group’s
own properties or hosted by third-party managed properties. Whereas spas
were once the differentiator, he contributed greatly to making them a qualifier.
Sonu’s other goals for the next decade include the recognition of Six Senses
properties in the top 10 best places to work, worldwide - already well on the
way, with resort-like facilities for hosts living on-site at many of his properties;
and creating the Six Senses Foundation to manage the group’s philanthropic
endeavours.
