Manager of Information Technology
Manager of all data and telecommunications infrastructure forall of the North American operations
which includes Florence, Ky, Auburn Hills, MI, and Saltillo, Mexico.
• Responsible for ensuring that all North American information systems are properly maintained to the
Mubea global standard and in good operational order.
o Yearly management meetings to outline global standards with corporate headquarters as
well as discussing upcoming technology trends for corporate cost savings.

Project Manager
Managed a teamof network engineersand network administrators for Hamilton County on a 5 year IT
outsourcing contract.
• Responsible for developing a Project Management plan for all current and future Hamilton County
projects by working individually with each department and understanding past and future technology
needs and trends.
• Responsible for County data and infrastructure including over 200 servers and over 3500 users.
• Responsible for identifying and hiring qualified and certified staff of engineers and administrators for
the Hamilton County contract.
• Led a project to inventory Hamilton County’s pc’s,operating systems, and applications. These
results showed that the previous audits were inflated, saving the County money on licensing for
applications and operating systems,as well as hardware replacements.
• Led a project to remotely manage the troubleshooting of pc’s. Having this remote management
software on all computers cut troubleshooting time in half for our engineers and administrators. This
showed the Pro-Onsite engineers and administrators to be cost effective with more productivity for
the County employees.

Meridian Bioscience, Inc. – Newtown, OH 1998 - 2004
International manufacturer of medical testing kits for infectious diseases.
Manager of Information Technology
Managed all data and telecommunications infrastructure for six US and European locations. Performed
as IT liaison with company departments including Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing. Supervised
technical staff and managed external vendors. Administered Cincinnati location IT budget.
• Led project that automated file sharing, centralized access to ERP system,and provided access to
other web based applications by designing and implementing a new corporate Wide Area Network
(WAN) utilizing Cisco equipment in four locations within US and Europe. Efforts included
evaluating and selecting vendors, presenting recommendation to upper management, and supervising
the implementation team.
• Represented IT on a cross-functional project that migrated the payroll process from ADP to Ceridian.
Led IT stages by acquiring hardware and software,managing the Ceridian Programmers who were
modifying the payroll applications, and configuring the time clocks’ hardware and software.
• Contributed to the success of Manufacturing’s implementation of a “paperless system” by managing,
installing and upgrading 45 personal computers within a 2-week period.
• Sarbanes Oxley – Identified risks associated within the IT Department as related to accounting
practices. Efforts also included IT security audits as well as performed departmental SOP training.
• Security being top priority over both LAN & WAN, performed systematic and routine security audits.
• Managed vendor contracts for WAN,telephone, and the Internet, totaling roughly $350,000/year,
negotiating agreements that saved money and supplied high quality equipment and services.
• Coordinated efforts between AT&T and Verisign to implement a virtual private network that allowed
any company user to access centralized data remotely, thus contributing to increased productivity.
• Led a project to migrate the company from an external Lotus cc:Mail email system to an in-house
GroupWise system. Efforts included installing and administering the Group Wise server. Also
trained 175 company users that involved traveling to three remote locations to train the sales reps.
• Introduced WAN technology within the corporate office that enabled system access to an accounting
application in two remote locations.
• Implemented corporate wide anti-virus server that prevented virus infiltration among 175 PC users,
thus maintaining staff productivity.
• Redesigned data backup system by installing an enterprise backup server, improving reliability.
• Served as technical support, gaining the reputation as the “go to” guy who thoroughly analyzes and
resolves issues.
• Administered the Novell and Windows 2000 servers,ensuring user and data security plus required
server maintenance. Also administered AS/400 user accounts to ensure user and security.
Network Computer Group (NCG) – Cincinnati, OH 1995 - 1998

to mid-sized companies.

• Managed technical staff of eight Network Engineers and Administrators that encompassed
