CIOX HEALTH, Alpharetta, GA September 2009 – March 2016

CIOX Health is the nation’s largest provider of release of information service and audit
management software. HealthPort processes and delivers over 23 million ROI requests per year
for over 22,000 hospitals, clinics, and payer systems. CIOX Health employs over 6000 associates
with revenues of $620 Million.
CIO – 2012 – 2016
Responsible for the daily operations and strategic vision of CIOX Health Information Technology
teams. Liaised daily with cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive and business
management in the planning and execution of major IT initiatives. Directly managed and
mentored a team of 68 multidisciplinary employees in supporting the operational and strategic
goals of the company. Provide three-year planning for IT systems, infrastructure, and security
roadmaps. Managed a SG&A and Capital budget of $42 million.
♦ Orchestrated design and development of, and worked closely with, cross-functional
departments in refining a comprehensive three-year IT strategic plan aligned with the
business’ strategic plan.
♦ Worked with providers and payers on interoperability with their platforms (EMR – Epic,

♦ Consolidated numerous SUN Solaris Oracle servers to Virtual Linux servers, saving 30% in
maintenance and support SG&A costs and improved performance by 20%.

with various business systems, achieving 99.99% availability. Increased alert and
monitoring capabilities supporting a 24x7x365 operations.
