City or Parkland University facilities? Specific courses?
Four year degree means broad study followed by specialist study . Scottish students study a range of subjects of their choice rather than focusing on just one topic. If you try a new subject and prefer it, transfer and alter focus of degree. As a result, Scotland has highest graduation rate in UK and one of the highest in Europe because you can move about until you find the subject that is right for you. Scotland also graduates a higher proportion of its population than any other country in Europe. All the evidence suggests the system works for the graduate and the country. many flexible routes into Scottish higher education, e.g. through HND’s or BTECs and that it is sometimes possible to apply for Advanced Entry (straight into 2 nd year) with excellent performance in Advanced Highers / Highers.
