5. Transforming Our Future
• The first major work on the College for over a
generation, the development will reinforce Camberwell’s
unique character whilst providing an inspiring London-
based campus.
• Built around an outdoor courtyard, students will benefit
from new studios and workshops, a state-of-the-art
lecture theatre, a public gallery, a new canteen and
designated social spaces, student accommodation with
a dedicated work zone, a well-resourced library and a
fully accessible entrance.
• Due to launch in September 2017, Camberwell College
of Arts’ new and improved facilities will offer students
and staff a world-class environment for academic,
artistic and community engagement right in the heart of
South London.
6. Entry Requirements
•BA (Hons) degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent academic qualification
•Professional qualifications recognised as equivalent to a BA (Hons) degree
•Professional experience or experiential learning, the outcome of which can be demonstrated to be
equivalent to the qualifications required
•A combination of qualifications and experiential learning, which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to
the qualifications required
•Applicants should ideally have experience of working or volunteering in a conservation setting
•Personal statement
•A reference
•International applicants will also need a transcript (translated into English)

7. How to apply
• Online application for 2017 entry will open in late November 2016
• Home / EU deadline is Monday 31 July 2017
• There is no deadline for international applications, but students are advised to apply as early as possible
• You will need to enter the following information in the online application form:

Employment history
• You will need to submit a personal statement in support of your application
• Successful applications will be invited to attend an interview and will be expected to bring a portfolio
• Interview and Portfolio advice is available on the course pages of the website
8. MA Conservation Fees
The fees for 2017/2018 academic year will be:
Home/EU Fee
Extended full time: £13,180 per year *
International Fee
Extended full time: £28,840 per year *
*Fees are subject to an inflationary increase as students
progress through their course
9. Finance and Funding
Pay Fees by Instalment
It is now possible to pay course tuition fees in instalments
for all postgraduate courses that last longer than 30 weeks.
Payments are taken in three instalments on the following
dates:
Courses starting in September/October 2017
50% of course fee at or before enrolment September 2017
30% of course fee in January 2018
20% of course fee in April 2018
10. Finance and Funding
UAL Alumni Discount
All University of the Arts London graduating undergraduate
students who are progressing onto a postgraduate course
are entitled to a further £1,000 fee discount in addition
to the progression bursary
Career Development Loans
Provided by some major high street banks.
You can borrow between £300 - £10,000.

12. Postgraduate Loan
Eligibility
In order to apply, you must:
• Have not achieved a masters qualification previously
• Begin your course in September 2016 or thereafter
• Be studying in one of the following ways:
Full-time, lasting 1 or 2 academic years,
part-time, lasting 2 to 4 academic years - or be resident in England while on a distance-learning
course
• Be under the age of 60
• Meet nationality and residency requirements

13. Scholarships
Vice-Chancellor’s UK and EU Postgraduate Scholarships
Please note Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships for 2017/18 are still be confirmed.
2016/2017
• Over 100 50% tuition fee waiver scholarships were available for UK and EU students
• Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Scholarships
• 10 £25,000 scholarships for International Students to help cover tuition fees, accommodation and
other costs associated with moving to and studying in the UK.
• Deadline for 2017/18 TBC, however it would usually be late May.
