Kids sponsorships:
● Created monthly monitoring of kids
via home visit reports
● Ministry of Social Affairs agreed and
registered all kids under NFO care
● Signed social contracts with all
kids/relatives and NFO
● Care packages were delivered to all
24 kids for 3 months
● Started and will continue sending
individual updates for all the donors
NFO operations:
● Ministry of Social Affairs will visit
NFO on 23th of January to finish
our registration as a local NGO
● New team structure is finalised
● New website is being developed
● NFO Volunteer program is in
progress to be launched
Schools:
● Fully funded and finished the
maintenance of the schools
● 500 new English books were
funded and delivered
● Monthly teachers salary were fully
funded
● Hosted 36 volunteers to support
our teachers

10. Mr. Samnang @ Ben Mao School
● Age - 38
● Graduated from university in English and
Economics
● Has been teaching with NFO since 2010
● Also works on his own farm in a neighbouring
village

● Total # of Students: 84 - Group A=32, Group B= 28, Group C= 24.
● Classroom Management: Teacher has good management skills in control the
whole class so that students focus on the lesson carefully and understand it fully
● Teaching Style: Teacher uses some new teaching methods and also uses the Audio
Speaker to get students listen the Tab Scrip as well as word cards and posters
● Classroom Environment: The environment inside is not very clean but outside is
good, no plastic or rubbish
● Working Hours: 12:30pm - 4:30pm
● Books being used: Group A “ Taking Off”, Group B and C “ English for Children”

● Graduated from BBU in Information Technology in
February 2017
● Has been teaching with NFO since 2015.
14. Status:
● Total # of students: 70 - Group A=25, Group B= 25, Group C= 20
● Classroom Management: Teacher is not good at controlling the whole class
meaning that some students are noisy and are going in and out during the
lesson
● Teaching Style: Teacher uses only one style to teach student without using
any new teaching methods. Sometimes he will use the Speaker to get
students to listen
● Classroom Environment: It’s still a big problems with plastic inside and
around the class
● Working Hours: 1:00pm – 5: 00 pm
● Books being used: Group A English for Children, Group B and C “Taking
Off”

whole class so that students focus on the lesson carefully and understand it fully
● Teaching Style: Teacher uses some styles to teach students new learning
