➢ Firstly my aim is to help children grow and develop being individuals who are life

• During my T.Y.B.H.Sc. conducted workshop on coping with disappointment with
senior college students.
• That same year conducted another workshop on competition versus cooperation with
4th STD students of A.V.M school Juhu.
• As a batch during my T.Y organised SANTAS FUN FIESTA for kids (special children
also included)
• As a part of field work have worked in Mona Remedial School of special education for
1 and half month.
• Have also worked as an intern at SOULS ARC Andheri, Yari Road, which remedial
centre with a parallel school. ( Experience of working with Autistic children)
• Also worked at day care centre at Parle as a trainee.
• During the B.Ed course have given 40 lessons in different special schools like
(Punarvas, Kalyandeep, and A.V.Mehta etc).
• Under the guidance of the professors have done a case study of a child where in I have
assessed her on the M.D.P.S and also given remediation for the same.
• Other than academics during my school years have been an R.S.P cadet, and also
participated in various other sports.
• Have participated in various elocution competitions during senior college.
• Have been active in providing creative ideas for annual day and various school events
while playing the role as a school teacher.
WORK EXPERIENCE
 One year working experience as a Special Educator and Counsellor with Mayur
Punkh.
 Freelancing as a Special educator tutor on an ongoing basis.
 Experience in teaching the NIOS curriculum.
 Worked as a Teacher Trainer with Tree House Playgroup & Nursery.
 Worked with Arya Cambridge International School (IGCSE school) as a
Counsellor & Special Educator.
 Currently working as a HR recruiter for the retail industry (luxury section.)

Key Deliverables
o Interact With Children:
• Utilize appropriate language, interactions, and positive discipline.

• Implement age appropriate activities that support the Head Start standards and the
Creative Curriculum.

o Assess Children:
• Assess children on a regular basis.
• Take pictures and maintain anecdotal notes, written observations and other approved
forms of documentation for each child.
o Curriculum Preparation:
• Utilise research library, research, plan, and develop age appropriate activities for
lesson plans in conjunction with the Lead Teacher.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in incorporating required activities into lesson plans that
support children’s development.
• Help Lead Teacher prepare activities that support lesson plans.
o Communicate With Parents:
• Maintain open communication with parents by scheduling and conducting
parent/teacher conferences.
• Help resolve issues or concerns that are raised.
• Inform parents about daily classroom routine, expectations, policies, field trips, and
volunteer opportunities.
• Communicate with parents about incidents that have been observed and/or recorded
on site.
• Obtain all required classroom parental signatures such as on all incident reports and
field trip permission slips.
o Documentation:
• Design and complete documentation panels for the classrooms and hallways.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for various classroom activities.
• Maintain up to date and accurate education folders for each child.
• Maintain accurate and up to date portfolios for each child.
• Maintain classroom supply lists and inventory.
• Complete all assessment paperwork.
o Supervision:
• Under direction of Lead Teachers delegate duties as necessary, and give constant
feedback to facilitate professional growth.
o Administration:
• Work closely with classroom teaching team, and other content area specialists.
• Actively participate in meetings which may include management, teaching team,
centre, committee, parent, parent policy, family reviews, city/state, agency, and board
meetings.
• Participate in team meetings.
 Communicate and share ideas and concerns with Lead Teacher and other team
members.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development activities such as
trainings, workshops, and classes to meet required qualifications.
o Classroom Maintenance:
• Help to maintain a clean and organised learning environment.
• Supervising sanitisation of all surfaces, equipment, and classroom toys.
• Maintain a quality room arrangement in compliance with curriculum standards.
• Routinely check classroom equipment and materials to ensure they are in good
condition.
o Other Duties:
 Providing support to children with mathematics, reading and writing on an
individual, class or small group basis.
 Giving extra help to children from ethnic minorities or those with special needs.
 Motivating and encouraging pupils.
 Assisting with marking and correcting work.

Montessori system.

• To be informed, by way of personal files, of all factors relevant to each student.
• To be familiar with new developments and methods in the teaching.
• To ensure appropriate behaviour of students in class and around the school.
• To keep the administration and Grade Heads informed about student absence,
lateness or discipline problems.
• To maintain inventories of all textbooks and materials issued to students and to
ensure the return of these.
• To care for the classroom and ensure that the classroom is attractively decorated
and conducive to learning.
