2. I linked my teaser trailer, magazine and poster together in many ways. For starters, all
three products make special use of the black background. For instance, in my teaser
trailer, I have the quotes relating to abuse and teen pregnancy in white upon a black
background. This is to capture the readers attention and give the quotes much
importance to the teaser trailer itself.
I wanted the quotes to all be of the same font and size so that it looks more genuine and
professional. The reason for the ‘Palace Script’ font was because I believe it is suitable for
a drama genre. It also resembles a handwriting style and my main character tends to
write and doodle in her diary a lot.

3. The black background and white colour
font draws much attention to all three
products which links ostensibly links them
all together. I definitely wanted to have
the writing in this colour to signify the
character herself as an alone individual in
a dark and scary place (the reason for the
black background).
I wanted the poster to be all black and white with no
other colour whatsoever in consequence to my
magazine cover which has yellow. The reason I
wanted just black and white was because I believe
that these two colours have deep, emotional
connotations of their own. The dark black
background could also signify the rest of the world as
a crowd and the main image being white signifies the
girl all by herself. The image that inspired these
thoughts was this.

4. All the text in the poster are white. They are however written in different fonts to make
the poster less tedious but I wanted to make sure that I maintained the white colour font
aspect.

5. The images in all three products also relate to each other. In
the teaser trailer, I constantly have the girl in the camera shots
alone. This instantly shows the audience that she doesn’t have
friends and that she is isolated.
In the poster, the main character is a different person, however
she is also alone and crying. The two images relate as they
show a young woman who is upset and seems to be alone at
that very moment in time and someone who therefore has to
face their troubles all by themselves as they have no one else.
Finally, in the magazine
cover, I have another
girl who is all alone and
is looking down just
like the image from my
teaser trailer.
