Born: 31 October 1795
Died : 23 February 1821
English Romantic lyric poet who devoted his short
life to the perfection of a poetry marked by vivid
imagery, great sensuous appeal, and an attempt
to express a philosophy thought classify legend
6. Early Life
• On April 15th 1804 Keats's father died after
falling off his horse
• Keats mother then would later die in 1809 due
to Tuberculosis
• John Keats died on February 23,1821 from
Tuberculosis
• Eldest of four children
• In 1816 Keats became a Licensed Apothecary,
but he never practiced his profession deciding
instead to write poetry
