INTRODUCTION
In October 2010, the Italian car brand

circuit of F1 "roof" park.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi faithfully
reproduces the history of the brand of

of inducements related to the brand.
Realized on the island of Yas, Emirtos
Arbes, it took only 3 years to build in an

technology that this company has
developed for F1. But it is the first time an

4. LOCATION
Ferrari World is located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
It is 10 minutes from the international airport of Abu
Dhabi, 30 of the city center, close to the new Formula 1
circuit of the island, with the tightest curve, and desert,

sand.

the United Arab Emirates.
With an area of 25 square kilometers, it has earmarked

6. CONCEPT
The building was conceived as a simple embraced the
soil structure.

claws that create attraction outside the enclosure.
The 3D nature of the building derives from the
sinuous double curve of the Ferrari body classic, for
which 3D designs were crucial in the evolution of the
structure.
According Benoy Architects, Word Ferrari has
become the "spiritual center" of the island of Yas.

8. CONSTRUCTION

first in the world to Ferrari and extends over an area
of 86,000 sqm available to visitors.
9.
10. COVER
His iconic and bold red cover has been directly inspired by the
classic double curve of the Ferrari GT line, covering over
200,000 sqm and incorporating the largest Ferrari logo built
to date, 65x48 meters.
The double curve was applied proportionally in elevation to
adjust the length of the structure, 700 meters and height 45
meters.
This ratio resulted in the dynamic scale in construction, going
from one end of the tri-forme cover.
Inside, the center of the huge roof falls and collected himself
on the floor like a illuminated glass window shaped tunnel,
creating the ideal environment for one of the most exciting
rides exhibition place.
