This document provides information for parents about learning in Primary 1. It introduces the teachers, Mr. Champion and Mrs. McJimpsey. It outlines the curriculum areas of literacy, numeracy, PE, home learning and positive behavior. Literacy will focus on phonics, writing, reading, handwriting and French. Numeracy will cover numbers to 100, measuring, money and simple budgets. PE is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and full kits are required. Home learning includes reading, maths activities and word building. Positive behavior is supported through restorative conversations, awards and Dojo points.
