the published articles in their field of interest. This helps the students to become more familiar with the recent
researches and also improve the students’ skills of understanding and debating the current research topics of
active interest in their field of study. In addition, this club gives a platform for the students to identify the new
area for the research and also helps them to file patterns.

A Day of celebrations done for newly joined students to our Department of Biotechnology family.

Students were eagerly participated in Walkathon conducted by our Campus life on World Heart Day
for their healthy life and also with the theme of “SAVE HEART” to educate publics about its importance.

fulfill their necessities. They will entertain poor and needy children with many useful and knowledged

27. NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME
Students involved in National Service Scheme have been organizing blood donation camps, visits to a home for mentally
retarded children in Kilpauk and a health awareness camp at the Ramapuram Panchayat Union School. Our students also
participated in the ‘Walkathon’ conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM
University) and Indian Coast Guard.

30. LITERARY CLUB
The English Literary Club organizes events for the students of all disciplines on a regular basis every semester. The
objective of the Club is to help the students identify and groom their LSRW skills.
This Club presents an opportunity for a student body to become more intimately acquainted with different types of literary
activities which constitute a necessary element in the process of a liberal education, intending to provide a program for
the production and promotion of the institution.
