Introduction
• The Brushless DC Motor (BLDCM) is an AC synchronous
motor with a permanent magnet rotor that may be
commutated electronically. Because of their smaller size,
higher efficiency, simpler structure, easier control, and
superior performance.

In order to demonstrate the speed torque characteristics and
observe the current and voltage components of the inverter, the
author of this study discussed the BLDC motor structure,
communication, and mathematical modelling of a BLDC motor
using Matlab-Simulink. And also an elaborate explanation about
BLDC motor drive and PWM current control techinique is
discussed.

Electrical Equivalent Circuit Based Modeling and
Analysis of Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) Motor
Mohamad Ridwan, MUhammad Nur Yuniarito, Soedibyo, Institute of
Teknologi Sedpuluh Nopember 2016.
The electrical and mechanical parameters of BLDC motor are
presented in this work, along with the electrical equivalent
variables for the mechanical parameter. This paper explains the
electrical equivalent circuit model under various scenarios. Also
all mechanical components are expressed into electrical circuit
element terms. Analysis of of BLDC motor with and without load
is obtained.
