1. VIBE is an R&B music magazine which is most relatable to the magazine that I am going to create.
This magazine promotes many popular singers/rappers today portraying an iconic image to its target
audience. This issue of ‘VIBE’ magazine is very simple; however the lighting corresponds with the
image of T.I. on the front cover.
Masthead is covered by celebrities
head; this shows that the company
assumes that the target audience is
familiar with the magazine.
Bold magazine logo title, not only
draws the audience’s attention, the
fact that it’s in a bold print signifies
that it’s an R&B magazine as R&B
focuses on bringing bold loud music
to its audience.
Main image is of a young celebrity,
signifying that the magazine
wouldn’t be for an older audience.
‘Murder & mad drama’ the use of
language is for a younger audience.
Including a pug will draw the
audience in to buying the magazine
Clothing of the celebrity is
formal, however the way he has
represented it is casual showing
that it’s not a magazine for an
older audience but for a younger
target audience.
