This is called camouflage because they hide
from predators in the snow, their fur makes it

chemicals in the air. It then puts its tongue
back into its mouth and puts it into a special
organ called the “Jacobson’s organ” that is on
the roof of the snakes mouth. The snake does
this to smell and find other snakes or food!
