• The key aspect of social media is that it allows people to share
information with one another.
• As more and more people use social media the more important it is
that companies create advertisements for social media.
• Social media also allows customers to share reviews of products or
companies.
• These reviews can have a positive or negative affect on each
individual company.
Social Media Creates Jobs.
• Companies now need employees who can run social media accounts
for the company so they can advertise their products to their
customers.
• The need for social media managers is going to continue to rise as
new social media platforms rise.
Social Media Is Not Going Anywhere
• Social media is becoming the main source for advertisements as less
people are watching television and are instead streaming movies and
tv shows from their phones.

• Every pro team now has social media accounts which also require
employees to manage the accounts
• Social media has created a new job type for sports management and
is now creating a lot of jobs for people like me who are in marketing
