AWARDS
Desh Apnayen Awards - A recognition
initiative
“Desh Apnayen Awards” felicitates a few
select schools for their outstanding
contributions towards promoting
citizenship education and civic
participation.

3. JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
• Number of citizenship club activities carried out
by the school
• Quality of the execution of citizenship club
activities
• Level of social impact made on students and
community
• Contribution to the neighbourhood
• The good work shared with Desh Apnayen by
partner schools

4. METHODOLOGY
• A panel of experts will be set up by Desh Apnayen Foundation
to select and recognize the most contributing schools, teachers
and students for their support to the movement from apathy to
ownership
• Select Schools will be awarded with ‘Desh Apnayen School
Award Trophy’, certificate & goody bag (Intex Fitrist Band, diary
& Cello Water bottle)
• Select Teachers will be awarded with Champion Teacher
certificate & goody bag (Intex Fitrist Band, diary & Cello water
bottle)
• Select Students Schools will get Desh Apnayen Star Citizen
Certificate.
• Awards will be given in the school assembly in respective
schools

Emails were sent to 120 schools inviting DA award entry,
with follow up reminder emails, Calls, WhatsApp, SMS
• Out of 120 Schools 66 Schools were engaged with Desh
Apnayen through some or other activity (constitution day,
shared images of activities, sent DA award form, what's app
response)
• Out of 66 Schools, 20 Schools have shared DA award
forms ( few were couriered, shared on what's app and on
emails)
