• This Film will be an hybrid of
Action/Crime/Thriller
• There will be elements of a darker side
creating un-expected moments

3. Certificate
We have decided to award our film an age rating of 15.
This has been done because our film is intended to be a
crime/action/thriller movie and shall therefore include
some scenes which are inappropriate for children (e.g.
fight scenes, guns and inappropriate language). However
we are going to make the trailer a 12 so that it can be
advertised to a larger audience.
4. Narrative
• The narrative for our film is based on a man in
his mid 20s who has a serious gambling
addiction. In one rigged match he loses all of
his money and is send spiralling into poverty
and hardship. Upon discovering that he was
cheated, he writes a list of targets ands sets
about to hire a hitman to assist him in killing
them for what they have done to him.
5. Characters
• Main character – Gambling addict which is out
for revenge(name undecided)
• Hitman who assists him to kill the targets who
have been written on the list
• Several characters targeted by main character
• Unseen contact that provides information
• Various ‘bad guys’ for fight scenes and such

• Hitman – who is a violent, tough character
• This main character is seen to be violent and has the
typical “hardman” look about him
• Gambler – in his mid 20s, has a gambling addiction
which leads to his problems

9. Title of the Movie
• We have decided to call our movie ‘Dyers List’
because the main character’s (Hitman)
surname shall be Dyer and the movie shall
revolve around him eliminating targets from
his list. Also it is short, catchy and sound as
though it could be a professional movie’s title.
10. Location/Setting
• Dark alleys, low light rooms, field, metal
shelter (located in Pembury)
• Streetlit roads
• Avoid filming in the school
• Church (Pembury)
• Tunnel
12. Sound Effects
• Gun Shots, Explosions, shouting, telephone call
tones, ‘punching’, Dripping, crunching, footsteps
• We would have the audio file of a phone call with a
list of names, times and locations being read out
which is a reference to the names on the list that the
audience will see in the trailer.
• The voice will be either a formal woman's voice or a
rougher cockney accent to add to the criminality of
it.
15. Pacing
• The trailers pacing shall be based upon the
music used. It shall start slow with an ambient
piece of movement creating tension and will
become faster as the trailer progresses (also
the music shall be changed to one with a
faster tempo).
16. Special Effects
• Muzzle flare for gun shots
• Blood splatters for bullet hits
• Sound effects to improve the realism of the
fight scenes
• Colour correction
