Personal skills & qualities
I have good I.T. user skills and a lot of experience with office productivity software packages, such as Word, Excel
and Outlook. I am also very familiar with Windows based desktop and file management. I have also completed
the Level 2 AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) Accounting Certificate which involved the use of Sage Line
50 accounting software. I am currently studying for the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) qualifications in
my spare time.
I have strengths in problem solving and creative thinking, along with organisational skills to carry out work
efficiently and effectively.
I am also conscientious and pay a high level of attention to detail in my work.

Kleeneze & Avon catalogue distribution, carried out in the local area.
Present time from July 2014 onwards. (Current & Ongoing, part-time)
Duties include:
• Distribution & collection of catalogues in the local area.
• Placing orders and delivering these to customers.
• Cash-handling of payments received.
• Administration of customer orders, recording data of deliveries and
retrieval of catalogues carried out to identify possible future leads, existing customers and
those who have rejected brochure deliveries.
Administration & Events Assistant, Marston Vale Community Rail Partnership,
Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity. January 2009 – March 2015
Duties included:
• Updating & maintenance of contact databases and mailing lists.
• Creating flyers for distribution to venues and letters to subscribers.
• Answering queries and information requests regarding travelling on the
Marston Vale Railway Line and other local transport issues.
• Typing up of minutes taken by the Partnership Officer at committee meetings.
• Sending relevant information to enquirers about the Marston Vale Line and attractions
near to it.
