Transportation and public realm scheme,
Bournemouth
The success of this project was a direct result of great
communications within the team and the mutual respect they
all showed for one another’s professionalism and capabilities.
Our multidisciplinary team was made up of urban and highways
designers using a collaborative approach to deliver integrated
transportation and public realm schemes in Bournemouth.
Client feedback included “Thank you all for your contribution,
we were overwhelmed by the positivity of everyone.”
Designing smart motorways,
Birmingham Box Phase 3
To date, the team on this innovative project has been shortlisted
for 12 awards, won five and received four commendations.
We provided design office support throughout the construction
phase, managed the ‘as-built’ record delivery and provided
both CDM coordination and road safety auditor services.
Feedback from road users included “Thank you for the brilliant
job you have done on the managed motorway sections of the
M6… journeys are safer and less tiring by a significant margin”
Award winning street design,
Liverpool
Mouchel was a key part of the team involved in the Edge
Lane Project, a ten year regeneration and development
strategy in Liverpool.
The Edge Lane corridor plays a critical role in presenting a
‘first impression’ of the city. These highway and environmental
improvements have turned a previously run down area into an
award winning contemporary gateway to Liverpool.
Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson said “Every major city needs
to have really good arterial road links… it is fantastic that it’s
now become reality.”
