Matthew Tucker
Managing Director
“We are a proud and ambitious organisation which aspires to be the best quality multidisciplinary engineering
consultancy in our industry. Being the best in our industry does not mean we aspire to be the biggest or one that only
works on strategic or flagship projects. What it does mean is that we put a lot of effort into listening to the needs and
requirements of our clients so that we can provide them with an added value service regardless of the size of their project
or the sector in which they operate.
We employ great people who also share our aspiration to be the best in our industry. We want our staff to grow within
our business and we empower them by providing career and development opportunities. We acknowledge that without
the hard work and dedication of the great people in Morgan Tucker we would not be where we are today.
We have established a thriving business by building close collaborative, long term professional relationships with a
core of clients who themselves operate very successful businesses. We want to use our unique skills and enthusiasm
to continue to grow our business and to give an opportunity for each employee to develop their skills and experience
within our organisation.”
Introduction
6. Morgan Tucker is an award winning independent
multidisciplinary consulting engineering business
with an ambitious growth strategy.
About us
The company was established in 2005 to provide
specialist highway, transport and infrastructure
related services to clients in both the private and
public sectors. In the early days the company
expanded in size and turnover by offering a
blended mix of specialist transport planning
services to a number of private sector clients and
local authorities.
Some of our early clients included; Lidl,
The Co-Operative, Marks & Spencer, Boots,
Nottinghamshire County Council, Scape and other
consultancy businesses who requested our help.
We became a ÂŁ1 million turnover business in our
first two years and continued to expand our client
list to include many private sector companies and
blue chip organisations.
In addition, the size of projects that we were
asked to become involved with were also
significantly larger. In 2007 we developed a
strong relationship with Europe’s largest rail
freight logistics company (DB Schenker),
who became the main construction logistics
provider for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Subsequently, Morgan Tucker was appointed
to design and project manage the construction
delivery of the logistics centre on the Olympic
Park. At the time, the facility was the largest of its
type in Europe. Being involved in such a nationally
important and iconic project meant that interest in
our company and the services which we offered
grew significantly which enabled us to become the
global multidisciplinary engineering consultancy
that we are today.

better relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Our clients expect us to provide more than a basic

vision of our clients and the challenges they face.
We will work with our clients to ensure that we have
a clear understanding of what is required from the
very beginning of every project.
We have significant resource capability with offices
