3. Our film could be something that is produced by a Hollywood Studio as it targets a mainstream audience and like many existing and popular horror films we used Zombies which have become very popular within the horror genre. Our audience is between the ages of 15 and 25 this gives us a big enough target audience group for who we hope to watch our film and anyone over the age of this is an added bonus. We believe this is a reasonable target audience as we feel that because our characters are 18-19 then this allows our audience to feel closer to them because of their age and relate to them We took our influence from the films Dawn of the Dead and Night of the living Dead, which were created by Laurel Group inc, and distributed by United Film Distribution Company Would it be produced by a Hollywood Studio?
4. Our film wouldn’t be a TV film as it will be released into the cinemas, however we could sell some of the rights to air the film on TV to the highest bidder and who we feel will get more viewers of our film on their channel. Would it be a TV movie?
5. No, our film is not experimental enough with the cinematography and follows the mainstream conventions rather than breaking them. Our filme is aimed at a mainstream audience rather than a niche audience which is the target audience for arthouse movies Would it be an arthouse movie?
6. Our film would not be an internet only release as we will be releasing our film in the cinemas. Would it be an internet only release?
7. Our film would be released because it follows the conventions of existing popular zombie films within the horror genre. With this in mind we feel our film would do well in the cinemas when released and will be able to make a profit from it. We would then release it on DVD after a couple of months in order for people to buy it. Why would it be released?
