3. Possible film distributor
 During the production process of the film, it is vital that they target a
distributor to send out their finished film upon its completion.
 In the terms of finding an appropriate distributor for our film, we
have found a few independent film distributors located in the UK.
These distributors have done movies that are similar to our genre
which makes these few an obvious selection due to their experience
with dealing with this specific genre that is relevant to our film.

4. Studio Cannel
 One of the UK distributors we have highlighted which would be
appropriate is Studio Canal. They have distributed a few horror and
thriller films that match the genre of the film that we are producing.
Above is an example of a film that studio canal has distributed. I feel
like this distributor would be the most appropriate choice for our film
considering their film upload portfolio.

5. Sony Pictures
 Sony pictures would also be an appropriate choice for a film distributor, as
they have had experience in distributing independent films. For instance,
Sony pictures purchased the film ‘Whiplash’, directed by Damien Chazzele,
for $3 million. They did this so that they could distribute the film for Chazzele
and gain the maxim amount of audience members to see the film. Therefore
Sony pictures would be a suitable choice for a film distributor, as our film fits
the style of an independent film and would be harder to attract a mainstream
audience, which Sony Pictures could do.

6. Chosen Distributor
 I have chosen Sony Pictures to distribute our film, as they have the
experience of distributing independent films like ‘Whiplash’ and Sony Pictures
themselves are a very well known and respected film distribution company.
