2. Gods Own Junkyard
I have chosen to use Gods Own Junkyard as
a location for my music video as it is a cool
place to shoot bits of my music video at as
there are loads of cool neon signs and lights
that would look really good on video. It also
fits in well with typical conventions for an
indie pop music video as it is quite edgy
and different. I will be filming close ups, mid
shots, and long shots to add a variety to my
video so that it isn’t repetitive shot wise. The
bright lights will be great if I want to focus in
and out of shots and it will look appealing
to the audience.
3. Car Park
I have chosen to use a car park as one of
my locations as I want to create a shot for
my video in which the two main characters
will be pushing each other in a trolley in the
car park. This will tie in with my narrative as
the two main characters will look as though
they are having fun throughout until the
ending of the video. The shot I want to
create will be taking place in the evening as
it will link with the rest of the video as it will
be shot in the evening.
4. Streets
I have chosen to use streets as one of my
locations as it is easy to access and I can get
some great shots of the two main characters
walking down the street, and skating down
the street. There is also access to some light
as there are street lights which can make the
shots look better. There is also a scene at
the bridge of the song where one of the
main characters will get run over by a car so
a street would be a fitting place to film that
scene. I will be using close ups, mid shots,
and long shots to add a variety of shots in
my music video.
