accounts including with Asda and Tesco.

EXPERIENCE
Self-employed ventures 2011–present BUSINESS START UP & DEVELOPMENT
During this time, I have enjoyed raising a young family and have also started and developed my own businesses
at the same time. All ventures have been from a standing start and have been profitable, involving:
•• Coaching and training others: Became a qualified Hypnobirthing teacher in 2010 and went on to train
over 200 couples who I sourced using social media and networking. In 2012, I became a BabyCalm and
ToddlerCalm teacher, training parents in essential parenting techniques.
•• Achieving groundbreaking new business: In 2013, against a background of expenditure cuts, I presented
a proposal to the NHS to save £1.2m and won approval from the NHS to train over 100 midwives. This

2. paved the way for Hypnobirthing to be rolled out across the region as an option for all couples and is now
part of the services offered to parents.
•• Events & business development - Uflourish: A Pregnancy and Parenting companion site, I formed this
business in 2012 as an umbrella to formally advertise all my services to date. I organise, promote and
manage a pregnancy information events service, organising 8 events to date. In 2015, I attracted in
excess of 250 new business advertisers / exhibitors including John Lewis and JoJo Maman Bebe as well as
receiving over 1000 visitors through the doors per event, using a range of social media and sales
techniques to achieve this.

In recognition of performance as Top Performer, was offered promotion to this managerial role, with key
achievements including:
•• In charge of 10 sales representatives, I managed the merchandising sales for Coca Cola in South East –
London, Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey, major clients including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s
•• Created an empowered and motivated team through effective leadership, regular communication and
goal setting. Managed all aspects of recruitment and selection, making sure the best talent was hired
and nurtured through training and development - many staff were subsequently promoted
•• Introduced a new system on Excel which made it easier to accurately identify growth opportunities; the
success of which led to its nationwide roll out across 110 sites
Coca Cola Enterprises Ltd. 2006-2010 ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Achieved status as ‘No. 1 Performer’ in the UK in 2009 through:
•• Initiated and implemented the strategy of installing temporary and permanent coolers in a
groundbreaking seasonal way which had never been tried before
•• Developed a proposal with clear ROI which was approved by Coca Cola Management to work in
partnership with merchandisers to maximise sales, including recruiting and training their staff
•• This close collaboration with customers led to developing unusually strong relationships with customers
and the chance to influence at all levels and within all departments - ultimately achieving significant
additional Gross Profit for the business
Coca Cola Enterprises Ltd. 2004-2006 SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Overseeing the territory management of 600 vending machines with the remit to improve profitability:
•• Negotiated vend price increases across 100% machines
•• Identified 140 unprofitable vend machines and withdrew them – requiring skilful communication and
influencing skills to maintain the relationship whilst withdrawing business
•• Developed key account strategy for top 50 customers, optimising their revenue within this competitive
market through effective account management
•• Effective cold calling in 2005 led to personally selling and overseeing the installation of 62 incremental
vending machines – adding an extra 7000 profitable cases to the territory per annum
•• Selected to represent the business on the ‘Business Connection Local Panel’, was an active member of
the annual conference task force and took part in a scheme to share industry knowledge with schools
