This document discusses expectations and how to help a robot understand that we cannot control everything that happens and our reactions are what we can control. It asks questions about what expectations are, how the robot might feel if expectations are not met, how to help the robot realize things do not last forever and it's possible to have expectations of yourself that get in the way of staying calm. The purpose is to think about expectations and how to maintain composure when things do not go as expected.

that can be controlled is how we react
•How could you help the robot understand that?
•Do you sometimes have any expectations of yourself that
might get in the way of you being calm?
•What can you do about that?
