A systematic review and meta-analysis examined the effectiveness of psychological and educational interventions for preventing depression in the workplace. The review included randomized controlled trials that evaluated interventions aimed at reducing depressive symptoms among non-clinical populations of workers. The analysis found that workplace interventions significantly reduced depressive symptoms compared to no intervention or usual care. Educational and psychological programs that targeted stress management skills and promoted healthy behaviors were most effective at preventing depression in occupational settings.
