Projects : Worked on various projects assigned to the company independently, as

1) Saudi Railways (SAR) Project – CTW400, Az Zabirah Junction to King Khalid International
Airport Riyadh.
The project CTW400 is a SAR project of about 450 km. The design speed of the project is
250km/hr. The project contains about 30 flyovers, 4 underpass bridges for crossing roads, 12
camel crossing bridges, 11 wadi bridges and about 650 culverts. Topography of the project area
varies from normal soil to sand dunes, hard rock, fractured rock and sabkha areas. Al Ayuni
Company is part of Consortium of three companies (Al Ayuni, Al Omaier and CCECC)
assigned for partial design and construction of project. I am member of Consortium design
team for this project.
Responsibilities:
 Modification in Railway design where required
 Develop and process geometric data for the whole project
 Detailed layout drawings for sidings and loops for passenger stations and yards
 Develop DTM for the whole project on the basis of joint survey
 Presentation of the whole project on Google earth including all structures
 Compilation of all segments of project to develop continuous chainage system
 Develop list of alignment stakes and R.O.W monuments
 Develop curve handbooks for the whole project
 Geometric design of cross roads flyovers and underpasses
 Design of connections between new and old roads

departments. The scope of work was detail design and construction. Preparation of preliminary
design was part of bidding documents. My participation in this bidding was as Geometric
Design Engineer.

1) Design of Batinah Expressway and Link Roads, Sultanate of Oman (130 Km). A joint venture b/w ACE
and BOTEK (A Turkish Consultancy Firm)
Batinah Expressway was big project of M.O.T Oman to be designed and supervised by the above
mentioned consortium. Lidar was used for the topographic survey of the project. The project area
contained variety of land like flat areas, mountainous areas, wadies etc. The project contained number
of interchanges, utility protection bridges and wadi bridges.
