6. PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED
HR Planning issue: CITPR Ltd. was unable to provide offer letters to the selected/ hired
students from the recruitment process held at TTC College of Engineering and
Management.
HR Communication issue: This resulted from lack of coordination and communication
between Mr. VN Swami, Recruitment Manager at CITPR and Mr. Ravi Sampat,
Placement Officer, TTC College of Engineering and Management.
Mr. Sampat didn't let those 25 selected students to sit in the placement processes of
other companies, even though the letters didn't came from CITPR after over extension
of the the date mentioned by the company.
7. Without proper, formal written communication, Mr. Sampat should not have mailed the students a
congratulatory mail regarding the selection at CITPR Ltd.
Since, Mr. D. Ganesh didn't communicate much with Mr Swami, this displayed communication gap
between the company employees , which affected the company’s reputation and Mr Thakur had to
come into the scene.
