He has revolutionised this genre over the last 18 months with his
brother and fellow grimes artist JME, really brining the genre into
the mainstream

input into the grime scene
He won a MOBO award in 2014 for best music video, the music
video only cost him £80
3. E-MEDIA
Twitter
Skepta is very active on twitter, constantly updating his followers with
information on his tours. As well as showing his appreciation for the
support he receives from his fans.
Website
After researching his website we quickly realised that it is a constant
loop of one of his most famous songs ‘Shutdown’
Skepta in NYC is a short clip that shows a behind the scenes of his time
in NYC, this shows his anarchistic side that he is so predominantly
known for. The reason anarchy is represented within Skepta’s
appearance is because of his tracksuits, baseball caps and the idiolect
that he possesses.
Facebook
His majority of posts on Facebook are him mentioning about upcoming
tours and concerts that he will be doing, he mainly uses this social
media site to keep his fans and followers up to date with upcoming
events. He tends to use Twitter to interact with his fans rather than
Facebook.
4. BROADCAST
Over the forms of Broadcast media, he features very little in the
mainstream, being TV and Radio, due to his unknown character
and the controversy of his music.
Personally I’ve only seen Skepta appear once on TV at the 2014
MOBO awards, where he won best video for That's not me which
is one of his most famous songs.
As radio goes, Skepta does not feature on this form of broadcast
very often due to his explicit nature of music
During a 2015 interview Skepta revealed that he will be making a
acting debut in the upcoming film Anti-social which has a very
anarchistic sight into the ways of the streets in London which
Skepta considers to aim his music at, he claims to be one of
them.
5. PRINT
In print based media Skepta isn’t really prominent however he has
made an appearance in issues of Fader, RWD and Fab. Fab is a
Nigerian magazine which is why his appearance on it isn’t as
recognised. The descent from a Nigerian family is the reason why
he featured on the issue, he is also seen as a role model in Nigeria
due to his efforts at getting grime genre noticed in society. Although
he is seen as a big figure within Nigeria he has was born in London.
The magazine RWD focuses on lifestyles of celebrities and artists
such as Skepta, JME and Kanye West who all have a similar type of
style. On the website you get a more in depth look at Skepta unlike
you do in the magazine. Skepta Page on RWD.

released with his label Boy Better Know. This album didn’t make it

However this didn’t make the charts either.
