Shooting Schedule
2. Introduction
- Before filming our opening sequence as a part of this AS level Media Studies
program me and my partner have decided to develop a shooting schedule, in
order to make sure the video production goes smoothly. A shooting schedule
is a project plan that describes each day (in our case there will be only one
day) of shooting for a film production. It represent a timeline stating where and
when production resources are used.
- To make sure there is no confusion and all the information needed is
assembled in one presentation for shooting, I have made a decision to include
crew, cast, prop, and equipment list, as well as character wardrobe.
- Due to covid measures we have decided to film in one day, therefore, as we
are limited in time, this presentation would be useful to organize all the props
and equipment needed.
5. Prop List
- 5x brushes
- 3x Cans
- 4x tubes of paint
- 1x canvas
- 1x pen (black)
- 1x clock
- 10x sheets of paper
- 2x notebooks
- 2x books
- 1x glass
- 1x juice
6. Equipment List
- 1x camera
- 1x tripod
- 1x charger
- 1x memory stick
- 1x rainproof cover
7. Character Wardrobe
- For Manuela’s character me and my partner have
chosen a simple outfit consisting of black pants and a
black turtleneck as well as a purple knit cardigan.
Since Manuela won't be fully shown in the opening
sequence, we have decided to keep the outfit simple,
so it doesn’t drive too much attention from the main
action. Manuela wasn’t supposed to look
high-fashioned or to wear designer’s clothes as she
isn’t rich and can only afford simple necessities, for
example second-hand garments, or knit clothes herself
and that’s what a purple cardigan suggests. For the
sake of keeping the outfit simple so the audience
doesn’t pay too much attention to it, she isn’t wearing
any jewelry or doesn’t carry any accessories.
