A 2-day workshop was held in Barcelona, Spain for Swedish immigrant NGOs. The workshop allowed for knowledge sharing between Swedish mentors working on integration and Spanish organizations located in Barcelona. Attendees visited 4 Spanish companies and the Ministry of Labor of Spain also participated. The project manager noted that the Swedish NGOs gained valuable experience from the workshop and hopes bridges for further collaboration were established. The workshop was part of an ESF project aimed at promoting social and labor market integration of immigrants through training immigrant non-profit organizations in Sweden and experience sharing with organizations in other countries.

Her responsibilities include taking and making orders, selecting and training personnel, cashier duties, inventory, and supervising customer service. She works 6 days a week for 6.5 to 8 hours per day and earns $8.50 per hour. While the work environment is quiet and she gets along with coworkers, the company does not offer contracts so employment could be terminated without cause.

Students in 5th and 6th grade interviewed their grandparents about their names, ages, and past jobs. They learned that many grandparents from the 1950s worked as farmers in the primary sector, as the area was largely agricultural. In the 1960s and 70s, many worked in factories in the secondary sector, as the town became an industrial center. Other grandparents held tertiary sector jobs as cleaners, drivers, or shopkeepers. The students discovered that their grandmothers had learned sewing in school and taught the students old sewing techniques. They thanked their grandparents for sharing their experiences and helping them learn about the past.

Ik kom dit keer met een verzoek. Zoals velen wellicht weten, ben ik 2 keer in Nepal geweest, en zullen er hopelijk nog meerdere keren bijkomen.
Tijdens mijn laatste bezoek heb ik daar kennis gemaakt met een jonge dame die diepe indruk maakte op mij, Rousie Karkey.
Tegen alle winden in, en geheel ongebruikelijk binnen de daar geldende cultuur, is deze jonge vrouw bezig met het bouwen aan een eigen carrière en bedrijf.
Het bedrijf heet: Aamako sapana (www.aamako-sapana.com)
Vrij vertaald: Moeders droom, en is gericht op toerisme en ontwikkelingswerk.
Ze zit in de afrondende fase van haar studie Toerisme en hotelmanagement.
Voor deze studie moet ze een buitenlandstage doen van 6 maand. Ze kan zelf zorgen voor een ticket, maar kost en woning is zeer gewenst.
Wie wil helpen om dit hard werkende talent op weg te helpen kan mij een PM sturen, zorg ik voor de rest.

How I Developed Ireland

El Proyecto Terral tiene como objetivo reducir los gases de efecto invernadero en los centros educativos mediante la sensibilización, cuantificación y reducción de emisiones. El programa ALDEA propone que los estudiantes investiguen las emisiones contaminantes de su escuela y difundan los resultados para encontrar soluciones que mejoren el respeto por el medioambiente entre toda la comunidad educativa de forma interdisciplinaria.

OPEN-DOORS DAYS AT IES “La Rosaleda” 2015-2016 Let’s talk about what we see in all the pictures Three journal hostesses are waiting in the Hall to welcome the groups that are going to visit us from different High Schools from Malaga. These hostesses will give the information and necessary documents to be able to complete the visit around La Rosaleda successfully.
- 2. This is the hostess’ uniform. It is a smart black suit with a purple scarf. They also wear an identification card with her name and the name of the High School as enterprises do.
- 3. The organization has prepared a Photocall that it has been made by Rosaleda’s students to be able to take a selfie, so they will have the chance to take a souvenir of their visit.
- 4. This is the first group that visits our Centre this year. We can see the hostess giving the welcoming as well as the information.
- 5. This is the first stop during the visit. Here, our hostess is telling the visitors where they are as well as the things they are going to do. In the workshop, the students will have the opportunity to participate in some activities prepared by teachers and students so they will know the most important things they will learn if they decide to study a Vocational Training Course about wood next year.
