Objective:
My objective is to secure a career as an Account or Personnel Manager in Southeast Louisiana’s Oil and
Gas Industry. I have over 16 plus years recruiting and managing of employees. I possess strong technical
and problem solving skills and excel in workplace practices. I am experienced and extensively qualified in
recruiting and managing field personnel.
Work History:
Grand Isle Shipyard (March 2016 to June 2016): Laid Off
R&R Energy Services (March 2015 to March 2016): Better Opportunity
C&D Production Specialist (August 2013 to March 2015): Laid Off
Account Manager- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training offshore employees;
assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing
complaints and resolving problems. Analyzing and resolving work problems or assist workers in solving
problems. Study job order schedules, forecast manpower levels, and coordinate with Human
Resources/Safety Department to fill all job requests. Monitor and/or reduce the level of
attrition/turnover of the field employees. Conducting safety meetings with field employees at crew
changes as well as meeting supervisors for employee evaluations and addressing future needs that they
may have. Making field visits when needed to conduct safety and knowledge checks of field employees.
GE Oil & Gas (November 2011 to August 2013): Better Opportunity
Inside Sales Coordinator- My duties included but were not limited to entering in all approved
international sales orders of wellhead stack-ups per quote and customer’s purchase order into Oracle
(GE’s sales tracking system). After entering in a completed sales order I would have to coordinate with
the Purchasing Department to order all need materials need for the manufacturing process of each
section of the wellhead. I would then follow the entire order through the manufacturing process until
complete order was ready for shipping. Once all the items were ready for shipment I would have all the
necessary paperwork completed for shipping internationally. Some orders had to be tested and stacked
before being able to ship to the customer to verify all items fit together as the engineers designed them
to. I lead a team of up to ten field hands in assembling the wellhead stack-ups. Each order was tracked
and reported to upper management to assist with hitting sales targets monthly, quarterly, and yearly
goals.
AT&T (June 2001 to September 2009): Better Opportunity
Retail Sales Manager- After being promoted from a Retail Sales Consultant for meeting and exceeding all
sales goals I was promoted to a Retail Sales Manager supervising and coaching up to 25 employees. I
was also responsible for the store’s inventory and appearance. Meeting with each employee to set daily,
weekly, and monthly goals and track their progress was my main objectives. Motivating, rewarding, and
2. disciplining employees for positive and negative behaviors were also part of my daily duties. Recruiting,
interviewing, hiring, and training to fill new positions as well as backfill old positions was done as
