Feedback Summary
Positive:
● The camera angles were very good because we used various of camera angles
cush as low angle, close ups, and pov.
● The editing is really smooth, the black and white is very good because it sets the
pace of the advert.
● The music suits the advert very well.
● The narrative is delivered very well and it made sense.
Negative:
● The camera shots were too long and they could have been made a bit shorter.
● There was many unneeded shots.
● The advert was too long and it could have been shorter.
● When the footage changed back into the normal colours the music was the
same.
The feed back from my peers is very helpful because when we was making the mock up
we didn’t notice the many mistakes that our peers or teacher notices. The points they
raised will make our advert more effective.
For example they noticed that the advert itself was too long because it reached over the
the limit they advised we shorten some of the shots because they showed unneeded
emotion and reactions. They also didn’t know what product the advert was trying to sell
because there wasn’t a logo anywhere. The music was suitable at the beginning but as
soon as the advert changed back to its natural colour the music didn’t fit well with it.
The editing techniques were really good. We used a lot of quick cuts to establish the
advert in a smooth style, pace and the progression of the narrative. The effects used
carried the emotion of the advert very well as the black and white carried connotations
of sadness.
