Lesson 6 discovering our solar system (solar system video)

Lesson 6 - Trusted Resources

In this lesson, students will review Aristotle and the naming
of the planets, Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo Galilei,
Henrietta Leavitt, Scott and Mark Kelly, and the stages of
research (presearch and research). Students will learn
some of the criteria used to determine if a resource is
credible and how to access credible resources on our
school’s website. Students will then learn how to access a
National Geographic video using Seesaw and then
complete a template for the activity in Seesaw. After
completing the Solar System activity in Seesaw, students
will work on their books in book creator.
