Possible Risks Location Solution to Risks
Breaking the camera
whilst recording
All Locations To make sure that the
camera does not break
whilst recording, it is
important that we secure
it to the tripod when
doing most of our shots
and also we need to
make sure when doing
hand held shots, the
camera strap is securely
fasted to the person
recording.
Run out of memory
whilst recording
All Locations To make sure this
doesn’t happen, we need
to make sure that the SD
card in the camera is
empty to allow as much
room as possible when
recording. Also after a
day of recording it would
be a good idea to store all
the shots of a computer
ready for editing.
Unavailable Actors All Locations If the actor that we have
asked to star in our video
becomes unavailable for
some reason, we have a
back up actor who will be
ready to step in for us on
short notice.
Broken Bottles House If we are not careful
when shooting some of
the scenes in the house. A
beer bottle could fall and
smash. To prevent this
we will just have to be
careful but in the case of
this happening we will
clean up the glass quickly
to avoid anyone being
injured.
Actor Injury All Locations There is not much chance
that our actor will fall
over or injure him self
whilst recording, as our
video does not involve
any running or
dangerous activities. If
however he does slip, we
will make sure we give
him time to recover
before filming again. It
would be a safe idea to
take a first aid kit on set
just in case.
Bad Weather All Outdoor Locations If it comes to the day of
filming our outdoor shots
and the weather is bad
we will try and postpone
recording and shoot
another day. However if
this isn’t an option we
will take an umbrella to
cover the camera so it
doesn’t get wet.
Camera running out of
battery
All Locations It is important that we
make sure the camera is
fully charged before
starting a day or
recording because it
would be a nightmare if
the camera ran out of
battery during the
middle of a scene. When
taking breaks from
recording, we will make
sure to put the camera
back on charge.
Instruments Breaking On Band Set It is highly unlikely that
the instruments will get
broken but however if a
string snaps or
something minor like
that, it is important that
we replace it to ensure
that the video looks as
professional as possible.
