General Manager: 129 Rooms March 2001 – May 2015
Responsible for the daily operations, and keeping owners / management company appraised of performance.
Consistently achieved “A” rating quality scores on all Choice Hotel Inspections. Maintained top tier performance for
Guest Satisfaction, ADR and Rev/Par throughout the Suburban Chain, awarded Choice Gold Award twice. Trained
and retained current staff resulting in higher Guest Satisfaction, and lower employee turnover (most employees were
there more than 5 years and some for more than 10 years). Effectively managed through the hurricanes in 2004 and
2005, producing 95% occupancy and revenues of $2,650,000 in 2005. Received the award for Best manager in 2010.
Personally responsible for maintaining the relationship with our largest customer, Pensacola NAS, at all marketing
levels. The hotel was sold in May.

City Manager: May 1995 - September 1998
The initial responsibility was as the General Manager of a single 108 room property. The main concentration
was on reducing complaints by 50%, and stabilizing revenues with a 20% increase. Received the Regional Quality
Award for 1996. In 1997, I assumed responsibility for a second property with 80 rooms. Received the Top 20 GM
Award in 1997, and was given a 7 day cruise. In addition to daily operations, had responsibility for training, testing and
certification of Assistant Managers for the north Florida Area. Also assisted the Area Manager by mentoring new
managers and acting as Area Manager during their absence. Completed Signature Sales Training.
The above represents the recent 20 years of experience and accomplishments, after returning to Pensacola. Prior to
returning home, we followed my husbands career and spent time in Southern CA, Memphis TN, and Hartford CT,
