We encourage the sharing of this across the whole
faculty. Maps101 is truly a cross-curricular resource

• Check with your technology administrator
for your login information.
• Some schools may have IP authentication,
meaning that no login is required from a
school computer. However for remote
access (eg students from home) the current
Username and Password is required.
• Maps101 permits unlimited simultaneous
logins with a site subscription.
• To get started visit www.maps101.com and
click the Subscriber Login button.

page. Browse by subject, resource type or

• Use the left side controls to browse site
sections.
• Watch out for highlighted seasonal

news articles written from a geographic
perspective for students.

context. Use for developing vocabulary,
critical thinking skills, geographic and visual
literacy with 21st Century skills

Standards. Users can search by grade level
and appropriate standards.

We continue to add content to the resource on
a weekly basis in the form of GNN, GNN
Podcasts and Map of the Week. Based on your
feedback we are also adding useful new
feature-sets such as:
