This document lists and describes various internet-based resources that can be integrated into the ICT classroom. It provides examples of using online weather forecasts, calendars, foreign language weather reports, online mathematics problems, words of the day, spelling practices, historical sources, worksheets, news articles, grammar lessons, and science photos. Many of the resources allow teachers to make lessons more engaging for students and help connect classroom material to current events.

the URL of a few sites that will add to their
understanding of the month’s events and encourage
them to visit the site.

variety of curriculum areas

12. Beef up your History Lessons
Primary source materials add interest to any history lessons.
Encourage students to include primary source materials in their
history papers as well. Find, through the help of the internet,
people related to heroes/heroines open to a discussion on the
greatness of their relative.

Space Centers Earth Science Picture of the Day, both of which
include a brief explanation of the day’s photo.
For example: Create a website of Filipino scientist, naming their
contributions to the country.
