2. •In the world of advance electronics, life of human beings should be
simpler hence to make life more simpler and convient , we have
made “ARDUINO based automatic watering plant system”.
•A model of controlling irrigation facilities to help millions of
people. This model uses sensor technology with microcontroller to
make a smart switching device.
•The model shows the basic switching mechanism of water motor
using sensors from any part of field by sensing the moisture
present in the soil, temperature sensor that can control the room
temperature and LDR to control the light intensity.

• Moisture sensor

5. • Power supply is provided to the controller .
• If temperature exceeds 25 C then Fan is
switched ON.
• Condition for water pump , when moisture
level is less than 100 pump is switched on.
• For light intensity less than 30 LED glows.
• All sensor values are displayed on LCD.

7. • Highly sensitive , Low cost and reliable circuit.
• Works according to the soil condition,
temperature value and light intensity.
• Complete elimination of man power.
• Can handle heavy loads upto 7A using Relay.
• System can be switched into manual mode
whenever required.
8. Have limited life after installation due to the
detoriation of plastic component in a hot , arid
climate when exposed to UV rays.
9. • Irrigation in Fields.
• Irrigation in Gardens, Parks.
• Very efficient for Paddy, Rice fields.
10. • The working of project is basically dependent
on the output of humidity sensors, LDR sensor
and Temperature sensor but in larger fields this
technology need to be improved by adopting
DTMF .By using this we will be able to irrigate
desired field & in desired amount.
11. In present days especially farmers are facing
major problems in watering their agriculture
fields as they have no proper idea about when
the power is available so that they can pump
water. Even after they need to wait until the
field is properly watered. This idea helps in
sensing the soil moisture and switches the
pump automatically when the power is ON.
