 Prepare customs checks or other port checks including
Immigration, AMSA, Quarantine and Custom documentation.
 Order of pilots, tugs, linesman, escorts, launches raising of
purchase orders.
 Liaising with the shipper, charterer, principal and vessel
 Arranging freight and coordinate, with provisions, ships
spares, medical, and accommodation
 Arrange and coordinate the delivery of fresh water to the
vessel when desired
 Prepare cargo documents (Bills of Lading/Manifests) and
send proforma copies to the principal for approval for vessels
loading
 Coordinate and estimate vessel ETA, POB, commence
loading, completed loading and sailing times based on tidal
movement, vessel draft and berthing parameters

Materials, PM01 task lists and critical spares lists were kept
up to date and accurate
 Improving long term asset health by ensuring that the
maintenance execution teams had well planned and
scheduled work to complete
 Identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives to assist
the business to achieve production at the right cost
 Development of Maintenance Planning team strengths by
providing them with appropriate training and development
opportunities
 Defined performance expectations for employees (and
contractors) and coached performance against these
standards including conducting formal performance
appraisals, implementing corrective and improvement actions
 Working with Procurement team to put in place long term
contracts for maintenance services such as diving, fire
suppression equipment maintenance and asset structural
integrity defect elimination
 Continually providing performance feedback to team
members, helping them to improve their performance at work
 Completing performance assessments for each team member
every six months as per the performance management cycle
